It sucked to have missed NDP due to work. Though i think it would even sucked more if i had to be deployed on NDP during my off days.
Been following the Olympic games.
Only the Boxing matches that is.
It's like this,boxers exercises invovles
1) running ! ( day in and day out we run as though we're packed mules )
2) skipping ( rhythm and stamina )
3 weights ( the back muscles produces the punching power )
4) hitting the sandbags,mitts .. etc ...
Train for months BUT for an amateur boxer in the Olympics
The matches is like 4 rounds of 2mins. With 30sec of rest after every round.
So, i've been asked why bother doing that shit for fightning less than 10mins ?
EASY.
When you draw blood from your opponent. It feels good.
Winning is even better, esp when your opponents eyes are both puffed up.
